Here are my short notes from a workshop by a McKinsey Kenya Recruiter.

Avoid any data that may create stereotypes:

No pic
No gender
No nationality
No date of birth(mirror effect)
No religion (esp for SDAs)
No marital status – married men preferred,single women preferred

Biodata required should be the header
Name|P.O box|Email|Phone number|(Citizenship if applying to foreign country)

Focus on:
1.Education background
-Always include start date and expected graduation date if current
-‎most recent to least recent
-‎undergrad/highschool name and overall grade/(never put primary school)
-‎ other training
-‎Indicate if under Scholarships

Job Title/ company Name/start and stop dates
